The Eric Andre Show (Live!)
The Eric Andre Show (Live!)
On the heels of the wildly-popular television debut of Adult Swim's The Eric Andre Show, the alternative-variety show takes its DIY brand of late night entertainment and punk-rock comedy live on the road. Just like on TV, the spontaneous performances will include musical guests, real and fake celebrity appearances, and all of the demented antics fans of the series have come to expect.

Currently in its first season on Adult Swim, The Eric Andre Show may be the most manic and unorthodox late night talk show ever made. The show's traditional talk show format quickly devolves into chaos as its inept and bipolar host Eric Andre, along with his apathetic co-host Hannibal Buress (30 Rock, SNL), subvert all late-night conventions. Taking place on a dingy public-access TV channel within an alternate reality, The Eric Andre Show creates its own distorted pop culture universe by conducting interviews with an unpredictable mix of actual celebrities, "fake" celebrities and extreme real-life weirdos. These interviews are broken up with deranged man-on-the-street segments, surreal flashes of inexplicable studio chaos, talk show desk-pieces and the general deconstruction of late night's most beloved tropes in every quarter hour episode.

The Eric Andre Show, produced by Abso Lutely and Executive Produced by Eric Andre, Daniel Weidenfeld (China, IL), Dave Kneebone (Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), Andrew Barchilon, and Kitao Sakurai.

Sammy Bananas
Sammy Bananas
Rising Brooklyn remixer and party maestro Sammy Bananas lives up to his name by crafting ecstatic tracks that ditch trendy production tricks in favor of pure pop satisfaction. Hook and melody are the consistent components of his dance music, which swerves through genre boundaries while maintaining a commitment to sparking club mayhem. Sammy is a skilled remixer, with reworks for Passion Pit, Kid Cudi and Chromeo under his belt, and these as well as his original tracks are loved and played by DJs across the globe. Traveling often, he brings his good-time DJ sets to dancefloors from Europe to Australia and everywhere in between.

With High Top Fades and Braids & Fades, his first two EPs on the influential Fool's Gold label, Sammy set the tone for his style, chopping up 90s R&B hits into quirky and infectious uptempo club tracks. This approach is still evident on his recent bootleg "My Body", which transforms snippets of R.Kelly's classic "Bump & Grind" into a near anthemic 2-step house jam. His first non-sample based song "Move Your Body" saw release in November 2010 on Fool's Gold Vol 1, a label compilation put out in partnership with Downtown Records.

Telephoned, Sammy's collaboration with NYC vocalist Maggie Horn, has wowed listeners with their innovative approach to the cover song. On their self-titled EP on Fool's Gold, and through a series of mixtapes, the duo transform and mutate current hits and reshape them in their own image using Maggie's versatile voice and Sammy's production skills. Their first original tune "Hold Me" is out now on Scion A/V, but they keep their mission statement in mind by featuring a cover of their own song on the B-side of the release.
