Miniature Tigers
Miniature Tigers
The sound is important but nothing is more important than the feeling of the sound. When Charlie Brand (vocals, guitar) was writing the newest Miniature Tigers record, he looked to the sum of his musical influences for inspiration. "I wanted to make something like Weezer's Blue Album—not exactly the album, but the feeling of listening to that album at age whatever. Something with that feeling that could connect with people." That's how the band had started, after all: When he and founding member Rick Schaier (keys) connected over Myspace in the mid-'00s through their love of the same bands. After a few albums, they brought on Algernon Quashie (guitar) and Brandon Lee (bass) to complete the band.
Finish Ticket
Finish Ticket
One of the best new bands to come out of the musically rich San Francisco Bay Area, Finish Ticket managed to sell out every show, successfully release a debut album, land a national automobile ad and tour virtually the entire USA & Canada, and that was before landing a worldwide deal with Atlantic Records.

Brought together by blood, burritos, and a shared musical vision, Finish Ticket is a band of brothers. Started by twins Brendan and Michael Hoye and their childhood friend Alex DiDonato, they quickly rose to the top of the San Francisco local music scene - all while still in high school. In 2012, through a long search for committed, like-minded musicians to fill out the lineup, they discovered the next level of FT kinship through brothers Gabe and Nick Stein.

With a sound described by many as the perfect mix between heartfelt indie rock & roll and catchy pop melodies, and with a captivating, energetic live show, Finish Ticket is on their way to dominate the airwaves and festivals this year.

"The perfect balance between melodic hooks, blues-tinged guitar riffs, and vocal parts... with such a melting pot of genres at play in their work, it's safe to say they bring a little something for everyone" - PureVolume

"Finish Ticket's 'Doctor' boasts an enormous cinematic chorus that evokes feelings of nostalgia and timelessness, a la 'Johnny B. Goode,' or something by the Four Seasons" --Diffuser.fm

"Lush musical landscape...killer melodies and harmonies" --Pure Grain Audio

"Finish Ticket offers a sound that is broad and touches on everything in between the rock and pop realms." –BuzzBandsLA

"Catch these guys before they blow up!" --Guerrilla Candy
The Griswolds
The Griswolds
After dominating international stages in 2015, The Griswolds are set to venture out on their next North American tour this spring. The ‘Hotline Spring’ tour will see the band embark on a co-headline run with electronic-rock outfit Magic Man to 29 markets throughout the United States and Canada. To kick-off another enormous year of worldwide touring, the band will also head out on another run with Walk The Moon in January, 2015 – this time throughout their home country, Australia, as well as New Zealand.

2015 saw The Griswolds tour their emphatic live show to international audiences off the back of their debut album release, ‘Be Impressive’ (2014). With unrelenting momentum, the four-piece garnered new fans throughout the globe by performing headline shows and festival dates in the United States, Canada, Singapore, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Belgium, Mexico, Germany, Australia and New Zealand.

After launching the year with an Australian tour in support of UK outfit The Kooks, The Griswolds ventured out on the road as main support for Walk The Moon’s North American Talking Is Hard tour. The 45-date run sowed increasing levels of global demand that could only be met with their long awaited return to Europe and the United Kingdom in May. The Griswolds left no stone unturned, performing at major European and UK festivals including Liverpool Sound City, Dot To Dot Festival and London Calling alongside a string of full capacity headline shows at Club Koko and The Stillery.

A 22-date U.S. headline tour dubbed The Excellent Adventure Tour followed in June and July 2015, with The Griswolds performing to over 10,000 ticket holders, including stops at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, Los Angeles’ Troubadour and a set at Firefly Music Festival. Further touring throughout North American followed in October and November when the band joined New Politics and Andrew McMahon on their mammoth 29-date Wilderness Politics Tour.

The Griswolds’ first bio simply read: “The chameleons of pop.” That description holds true for the Sydney indie pop group, formed almost three years ago by singer/guitarist Christopher Whitehall and lead guitarist Daniel Duque-Perez, as they look to become a globally known act. The duo was quickly joined by bassist, Tim John, and later on drums by Lachlan West, who were at the time both playing in legendary Australian rock band, The Vines.

Forming in 2012, The Griswolds leapt to a roaring start after being handpicked as a triple j Unearthed feature artist, and winners of the Parklife Unearthed competition. Praise from over 100 blogs around the globe followed quickly – all simply by posting their debut single ‘Mississippi’ online. Second single, ‘Heart of a Lion’, was immediately added to high rotation in Australia on triple j radio, ending 2012 as one of the station’s most played tracks of the year. The international airwaves were quick to take notice, with ‘Heart of a Lion’ attracting airplay in over 20 countries worldwide, achieving #3 on the radio airplay charts in The Netherlands via tastemaker station 3FM and an iTunes Single of the Week in the region.

Recorded under the guidance of legendary American producer Tony Hoffer (The Kooks, Beck, M83, Ladyhawke), ‘BE IMPRESSIVE’ is The Griswolds’ debut full-length album. Featuring breakout single ‘Beware The Dog’ (Top 40 US Alternative Radio / triple j high-rotation / #28 triple j's Hottest 100 2014), ’16 Years’ (FIFA 2015 Soundtrack) and ‘If You Wanna Stay’, the album has received a global release via Chugg Music (AU / NZ) and Wind-Up Records (Worldwide) in August 2014.
